The last I heard was that there were 2 diesel Hyundai Getz imported purely for evaluation purposes only.
For a good list of diesel passenger cars both old (...remember the diesel Holden Gemini) and new, see this link http://carpoint.ninemsn.com.au/car-r...00945&R=ce7922
and look for the heading Used Passenger Car Diesels in Australia.
