[quote=pyro2b;28670]My attempt... (What do you think?) The ATO requires that $0.38143 per liter be paid to the ATO as excise tax, and that ever batch produced must be tested by a , I agree that their is a requirement for the protection of the public, that they are buying a product manufactured to an approved standard, but this is not a necessity foir the individual trying to do his or her part for the environment . I am writing to you to ask that you please make these necessary changes so that people who want to save our plant and move to a carbon neutral way of life, are not penalized for trying to do so, I hope you can understand the point that I am trying to make and I look forward to further correspondence with you.
Excellent letter matey, hope that it is actually absorbed trouble is the politicians are some what misguided in the belief that they should be serving themselves not the public,
hopefully me midnight bio-oil mate hasn't been in the job long enough to get tainted by that.
I have above indicated some type'o's in the letter, hope you don't mind and i think your p.c. is set up for u.s. english ( naughty computer) as it allowed you to write penalized instead of penalised ( i suggest a stern talking to) apart from that it's spot on hits the right notes, and should appeal to anyone with a sense of right,
Would you think that in light of the governments nanny state stance it would be prudent to suggest that anyone producing bio maybe does a short tafe course in order to standardise the manufacture A, the set-up of the tools used to produce bio (tanks, pumps, elements etc) and the safe handling and storage of chemicals or would this play into their hands somewhat?
Although no expert myself i think a 44 gallon drum with an electric drill suspended above it, bathed in meth vapours is asking for a drama,(as see previously)
What i am suggesting although again i realise we are open to interpret the production of bio upon personal needs financial constraints etc
Would a standardised approach save us being left open from attack if it was government indorsed?
Or maybe a collective of aussies bio producers compile a standard an online freely accessable pamphlet, on the safe handling of products self governing show's a sense of a serious intent and maturity and professionalism.
Don't drag me outside and shoot me now its just a open question
regards Andy
