Come to think of it, the last time I was Axel, and survay written (not axle or survey) it was from another staff member....

I know what you mean about "new"stuff. The first car I did some 6 years ago ran on solid lard, used gas solenoids I filtered it by shoveling the lard into a pot on a stove and pumping it quickly through a filter, which had a bypass filter in it, so when it got blocked I filled the car up with dirty oil. Of course also it was hard to work out what was happening without a vacuum guage on the car.

I think the last "new" thing I heard was the shopping bag filters?

I hope the forum stays long enough to enable a few more barbecues.
