I fitted a Facet pump for the start up fuel.
The manufacturer claim this pump is for petrol, but I am using it for diesel in my current car and for WVO in my previous car and it works great.
Fuel can flow when the pump is off. Reverse flow is not possible whether the pump is on or off.
The current draw is below 3A, so I don´t use a relay.
They can be a bit noisy. Mine if fitted under the rear seat and I clearly hear it when I am waiting at the traffic lights. No one else does, though….
There are 3 models with the same external shape:
SS501 2.5/3psi and 45l/h
SS502 4.5/5psi and 68l/h
SS503 6psi and 94l/h
In Europe they cost between 60 Euro and 90 Euro.
