Hello all,
I am currently researching marine biomass as a source of bio-gas feed stock. I have completed C,H,N analysis of my samples and inputting my results into an equation (Buswell eqn) to determine the theoretical methane yield. The excel macro I have set up is correct and works for other biomass sources. When I input my values they do not out put a valid methane yield. Should I be using an altered equation to obtain a methane yield for this marine biomass? Does any one know should I be using maybe a different method for this theoretical bio-methane potential estimation??
