    I'm still looking for info on the use of biodiesel in mines in Australia. Does anyone have any info or can point me to where I might find out please

    You could try contacting Biodiesel Industries Australia Pty Ltd in Rutherford direct and ask them if they supply any mining companies. Rutherford is in the Hunter Valley, which is a region with a large concentration of both Open Cut and Underground Coal Mines. I understand that at least one large mining company is a shareholder of BIA, and it would make sense if they bought in as a stragetic way to guarantee access to BD at the right price. If Rutherford can't advise you if the fuel is restricted to aboveground use, or is also used on underground vehicles, then perhaps they could put you in touch with the mine direct.
