Ethanol fuel may have got a boost today. Pertamina, Indonesia’s state owned fuel company has introduced a 5% ethanol blended gasoline and is discounting it against standard gas to drive up interest. That’s according to the Energy Blog, quoting China’s Xinhua news agency. But digging around the “our fuels” section of Pertamina’s website has not revealed very much. But that could be a lack of joined up marketing.
