G’day mates,
Bill from Corio…out to pick your brains...again.
Not having a whole heap of cash to spend on a new 4 x 4; I have the option on one of the two following two vehicles, (the Freelander I had an eye on was sold today):
A 1992 Land Rover Discovery 2.5 litre TD.
A 1985 MK Nissan Patrol 3.3 litre TD.
I have owned a Nissan Patrol 3.3 litre TD a few years back; it was a 1984 model, a good truck that never let me down. I have never owned a diesel Land Rover so I know nothing about them apart from the fact that they have an aluminium body and get about 700 KM on a tank of diesel…or so I’m told

Both vehicles are around the same price so I’d like some advice, if you were in my place, which one would you go after and why?
I plan on running the vehicle I buy on 100% BD.
