    whilst i was looking about the net i saw a really good diagram on how to set up a 2 tank system....trouble is i cant find it again. could someone post a diagram that would cover all that was required so i could show to a mate that is having trouble visualising what its about...cheers

    Here are some I devised some years ago:
    single 3 port valve, looped return:


    2, 3 port valves (or 1, 6 port) with return to tank:


    Rotary IP with looped return:


    Using 2 electric fuel pumps to switch the fuel sources:


    Using the one lift pump with separate fuel filters:


    This one I tested in the Fatmobile in Aug, 2005:


    This is the configuration I have on Elisabeth:


    There are many ways to do the conversion. Many vehicles have different needs in the conversion, some IPs are intolerant of cold vegetable oil. Please feel free to ask about conversion of your vehicle as there may be someone who has already done this to that model car.
    You could be the first, in which case, we will still help you as much as we can, but we will be 'flying in the dark', so to speak.

    '06 Musso sports Crew Cab Trayback - My hack (no air cond, no heater).

      thanks tony im sure your post would shed some light but unfortunately none of the images have opened? just got the small square with the red cross and no pics.....bugger!

        I can see the images at this time, anyone else?
