    standardised fuel fittings? Australia

    I don't suppose anyone would have an idea of whether there is a standard set of fuel fittings and connectors for Australia? eg my 1HZ appears to have come in fuel fittings of 8, 10 and 12 mm and the heating hose at least in 1/2 inch and 5/8 (whatever the metric and imperial equivalents are)

    The standards are what ever the manufacturer can devise to minimise production costs and maximise spare parts income.

    In other words, it is "Rafferty's Rules" out there.
