Anyone in Bris with too much Methanol?

Hi Guys, I am in need of some methanol. I would like to buy a 200L drum, but I think it will go off before I use it all. I could buy a 20L drum but they are way overpriced. Perhaps somone on here has a 200L drum which they are having trouble getting through? If this is you then I would like to offer to help out by purchasing 20 - 50L. I am on Brisbane southside.

Why not contact Rechochem? Methanol wont go off.

Methanol does not go off, it may evaporate if you permit this to happen. Keep it sealed and cool and you'll be fine.

Hi Matt, thanks for your response. I was told that it will absorb water out of the air over time?

Not really likely but as I said keep it sealed and air tight and this should not be an issue. Not for me anyway so far.

PM me for a good place to get 200 litres.

I would be intrested in getting 60l from someone on the southside of brissy as 200 l is a little unsafe to store at my house (to many kids about). i have a 60l steel drum to decant in to.
