    Omar,
Welcome to the Biofuels forum. It is good to see others from the Infopop forum here.

The prices quoted, are they in $ US or $ Au ?
If one needed 2 of these, does the shiping double?

What is the expected transit time of the order, from receipt of payment to delivery in Australia?

    Regards,
    Tony

Looks like a good alternative to Pollak with several advantages.
Need 2 to replace 1 pollak 6 port.
      $45 + $45 + $23 = $113 - - - - - good price.

Do you accept any method of payment other than paypal?

I just can't bring myself to give eBay any more money than actually required for the use of their services.
this does not involve eBay, so why use paypal?

Do you pay any fees to pay for an invoice on pay pal?

I normally pay for the invoice amount only regardless where it was sent from

                Omar,

Does the solenoid in these require constant current to remain in a desired position (does it have a default) or is it simply moved by the application of a short amount of current and then remains in that position ?

Do these come with Bayonet style fittings to mate to our oil supply lines or do we supply or own ?

                regards

I have just ordered 2 of these valves and will begin my wvo conversion journey soon. I will be taking the leap using my treasured Ford Courier 2.5TD. Also purchased a 20 FPHE from Geoffwin. Next stop - Enzed for hoses and connections. Am planning on using a 20 cubie as my first tank --> 12mm wvo hose --> 20FPHE --> CAV filter --> 2 x 3port valves and probably a vacuum gauge before the IP. Any comments on my intended set up are welcome!

I've tried ordering two of these valves from your website, but it seems not to like it when an address outside of the USA is used. Suggestions?

Re: Fuel Tank Valve Selector WVO,SVO,Biodiesel

I got busy today and pulled the solenoids apart to see if gumming was part of my problem.

The first thing I noticed when I flicked the switch was that there was no audible "thwack" sound as normal. Anyway, pulled them apart and they were pretty sticky. I didn't find any gunk in the assembly but the valves certainly were sticky.

Put the whole lot back together and then flipped the switch on both. One clacked over, the other did not! After some initial consternation and a bit more switch flicking, they both worked as they should. I didn't use degreaser to clean the components as Omar suggested. Will wait and see if it plays up again.

After seeing this thread and having my ute conk out on me upon switching to veg a couple weeks ago, I decided to pull them apart.

It's pouring rain here and there is no sign of it easing up anytime soon. That's what you get for living in the tropics I guess. Once this subsides, I'll it out for a spin and see if it works again.
