Looking for someone to covert my car

Hello,

Am I posting in the right place? Not sure.

I have been reading through this forum and I find it very good.

My car is 82 mercedes 300d and I want to have it converted to run on veg oil. I spent lots of money to get it up to standards and now wish to get it running on veg oil.

I collect near 80 litrs of clean oil a week from my brother's take away.

I tried the idea of blending - it does work but I prefer 2 tanks style.

I am a little handy but have no time. So I am happy to pay for parts and labour.

Any help would be great.

Do a search on Fitian.
He is in Sydney and is usually recommended by most members here.

Did some search on Fitian. nice work.
I do have clear idea of what I want done to my merc. I sent a PM to him but not sure now after what Dave is saying about the guy.

Dave if you can upload couple of photos of your car conversion that would be lovely really.

He's converted 2 of my cars (both 300Ds) and does a top job. You won't regret it.

Fitian showed me photos of his work on your 300Ds - Very well engineered work indeed. I am jealous and can not wait for my 300D to get Fitian's touch too.

Are you saying that Fitian is still doing conversions.
A friend of my son wants a vegecar and she will soon buy a diesel.
If he is still doing conversions I will send her to Fitian.

Yes he's still in the game and probably knows about your post.

Of course he's still in the game.
He is converting my merc in two weeks time.

After test driving his merc, I can think of any better, well engineered way of converting 300Ds.

Not sure where DJ got this info from? Motives unknown I guess !

DJ and mark just my 2 cents worth.

DJ I think your first post confused people thinking Fitian had no
interest in conversions and with your last post It seems you have tried
to protect Fitan from users wasting his time. So I can see where the confusion lies.
I did not see any posts to see why Fitian took his decision to cut back from
posting on this forum, maybe it was caused from behind the scenes (PM's) or
as I said people wasting his time.
Personally I believe his exiting has been a loss to this forum with the info he
used to share as would you DJ and other big name contributors.
Fitian is sadly missed.
