    Petrol v Diesel Filters

    Just a small question - what is the difference between a petrol and diesel filter?

    I am thinking about a cheapo inline petrol filter in the filler hose I use to fill the vehicle (from the storage tank). Will it disintegrate with the BD?

    No, I use a cheap inline filter ($2.00 @ a cheap car parts place) in my biodiesel pumping unit. The ones I use are clear so that I can see when I have some high MP biodiesel blocking the filter. (I reverse the pump to remove these solids from the filter)
