I'm new to the forum and BD & South African,so any jibes re sport, get it done with OK ?
What I want to know is do you get a better BD yield if working with VVO than WVO ?
    So for every 1000ml VVO + 200ml Methanol processed , =????ml BD

    Hello Biostar

If you are using oil that titrates close to 0 you should get a volume yield in the 95- 105%

        Re: yield

New oil, which has been prepared for human consumption has low levels of Free Fatty Acids. From this oil, regardless of the source, you should be able to achieve high vields. If the oil is past its "use by date", the FFA will have risen somewhat and the vield will reduce accordingly.
