My biodiesel processor plant is up for sale as I no longer need it.
The processor is based on the closed loop GL Eco-System & is a single tank setup for oil drying , processing, meth recovery, washing & final filtering.
The system minimises vapour release, recovers excess methanol & also means no pumping anything to & from drums during the stages.
It is all done in the one tank.
Roughly filtered oil goes in the processor
Oil is dewatered & filtered
Processing is done
Methanol is recovered
Washing process commences
Biodiesel is dewatered & dried
Biodiesel is filtered & polished
Goes into storage drum
The setup has the following:
2mm all steel contruction & steel piping
Fully insulated with screw down top
1500W electric heating element
Thermostatic temerature control
Over temperature safety cutoff
Low level switch to turn off heater if liquid level is low
Polycarbonate sight glass
Meth recovery condenser which recovers about 25% from each batch.
Air driven methoxide mixer
Filtering for oil prior to processing
Multi stage filtering for filtering & polishing finished biodiesel
200 litre total capacity but works the best doing 100-110 litre batches of oil
Separate 200 litre bulk oil settling tank with multi level valves
Separate 200 litre drum for finished biodiesel with rotary hand pump & final filter
Couple of hundred litres of oil
Location is mid North Coast NSW
