  • Bio-Diesel Layers ?

    Hi,
If I have my usually mix of Bio-Diesel in a jar, I have the Bio-Diesel on the top and the Glycerin at the bottom. If I add water to this and shake it and let it settle will it settle at the top or bottom or middle ???

    Thanks Hamish

How do the oil companys justify the outageous prices?
New Zealand buys its oil in 3 weeks in advance but yet when conflict occurs the price jumps up within an hour. Bio-Diesel is BETTER for your engine anyway. :)

    Re: Bio-Diesel Layers ?

    Hello Hamish,
Forgive me, but I am afraid my School teacher is coming out in this reply. I apologize.
Which "It" are you referring to?

The glycerine and water are miscible and will mix together. Provided you do not make an emulsion the Biodiesel will be on top and the water/glycerine will be on bottom.
