A piece on Greentech Media puts the cost of biofuels from algae at around $33/gal(US). That leaves plenty of room for process/growth/yield optimisation then.

I wonder how much fossil fuel would cost by the time you take into account wars in other countries, subsidies, bailouts for the compaines that make the cars to burn the fossil fuels...... I don think tesla cars are asking for bailout money ar they?
