Re: Brisbane Supplies

Hi Axel Hahn,

I havn't done any more research on the Smiths WVO at this stage as my project as taken a back seat, the BOSS'S rainwater tanks installation has priority at the moment. If Petro diesel hits $1.45-$1.50 litre as predicted purchasing wvo will become a viable proposition and I too would be interested in bulk purchase. I am only guessing but other simular comodities are sold by the tonne (I thinks that's the spelling) someone will be able to work out how many litres that would be.

Regards John H

Re: Brisbane Supplies

John H,
The Specific Gravity (SG) of oil or biodiesel is around 0.92. Water has an SG of 1.0
Water weighs 1 Kg per 1 litre, thus 1 tonne (1000 Kg) of water is 1000 litres. Oil being lighter will give you more litres, thus oil which has an SG of 0.92 will give you 1082 litres per tonne.

Re: Brisbane Supplies

Thanks John,

I can take up to 400 Ltrs of WVO if that helps (two barrels) but would consider more if no one else is interested in this option.

Cheers.
