Smile BioDiesel Availability

I was in Hunter Valley last week and had to call at Rutherford. I called Rutherford BioDiesel Plant as I saw contact number on sign regarding Sales. Contact advised that you can purchase bulk quantities and when questioned advised that 200 Litre drum amounts are OK. He also advised that their product is retailed by the Bo-Gas Service Station Group.

They have outlets in the Hunter and along the New England Highway. For your information there is a Bo-Gas outlet at Hexham near the junction of the New England and Pacific Highways.
Happy Motoring.

Mike,
Thanks for your info.
How far is the Bo-Gas servo from Hexham bridge? which direction? heading North is my guess.
I travel to Nelson Bay very often (every weekend) to my holiday home at Boat Harbour via Hexham bridge and Tomago Rd.
Volume Plus servo on Nelson Bay Road, Bobs Farm, Nelson Bay also has BD on its pump.
I'll mark it on my GPS for my convenient if refueling is required. I usually filled up at S. Strathfield and will refuel once I got back to Sydney.
I'm a happy Bio-Diesel driver.

Birdog 114,

Re- Hexham BO-Gas BD.

Sorry I didn't fill up there as I had a full tank.
I believe it is on Pacific Highway a little South of Hexham Bridge entry ramp.
Check on whitepages.com.au and cross reference with whereis.com.au maybe?

Cheers,
Mike

Re: BioDiesel Availability

Birdog,
The Bogas at Hexham is on the road into Newcastle (Pacific Highway).
So, if you are coming up from Sydney (F3), you have to NOT cross the bridge but continue along as if heading into Newcastle, and it is a few hundred metres past the lights. Coming south you cross the bridge as normal, then turn left and it is on your left. Is that clear or did I confuse you?

Last time I looked they only had B5, but that was a couple of months ago.
