Hi all

I'm posting this message from a friend who wants to sell her MB300TD. As I have one too and run it on Morris's BD whenever I can, and there's so many other MB300D's in the biodiesel forum I suggested she advertises here. Hope that's OK:

I'm intrigued to know if this was sold, and if so who to, how much, when etc?

I resisted the temptation to ring up about it myself, as the last time I did that I ended up with a 300D that I didn't really need (but I'm so pleased I got it!)

It looked like a great car, although a bit pricey but I suppose the wagons fetch a bit of a premium as they are relatively uncommon.

It is still on the trading post.

It was advertised for $5500 two weeks ago now it is down to $4000.

A friend went and saw it and did not buy it.

I'm looking for a nice TD, but it must be "excellent" and I'd pay a premium for one if it was. I was put off by the engine description, ie. "fair engine". It has low kms so perhaps a description of the engine's problem would help potential buyers?
