Latching Solenoid valve with 12mm bore

It would be good to know if there is any interest in using alternative valves -

These are high spec large bore specifically designed for wvo/svo use with a solenoid operation, ie only need a single pulse to switch and not continuous current.

Rough prices at the moment would be £100 UK sterling a pair + shipping for a minium of 6 pairs.

I'll move this post across to the correct thread and post further details if peeps are interested.
EDIT: I have copied it here from the original location and changed the thread title. Tony

Spock505,
Please post the valve specifications and a photo so we can see what it looks like.

Re: Latching Solenoid valve with 12mm bore

Thanks Tony,

Heres a couple of pics, the outlets can accommodate either 8mm (shown) for the diesel feeds or 10mm for veg.

Valves are supplied with quick release jack for ease of removal.

Fittings and pipe maybe available separately

Re: Latching Solenoid valve with 12mm bore

David,
I can only see 2 ports on this valve.
Is it a changeover valve (3 port) or an on/off valve (2 port)?

Regards,
Tony

Re: Latching Solenoid valve with 12mm bore

Tony,

The two outlets are shown, the inlet is on the otherside -

Should hopefully have one fitted next weekend so wil take a few more pics showing all sides.

There are two holes in the bottom for upright mounting (recomended)

During testing the 10mm nylon pipe proved sufficent for high flow, return to tank system such as the Mercedes employ.

Its also high pressure for the HDi and negates the use of ring clamps.

Best,

David,
Can you provide total cost for the 6 pairs (12 valves?) to Australia, including freight?
What payment methods can you accept?

Regards,
Tony

Hi Pete,

Thanks for your interest,

At the moment its a case of canvassing interest as not economical to send them across the pond in small numbers. I have your details so as soon as we know I will drop you a PM.

Best,

Re: Latching Solenoid valve with 12mm bore

I would be interested in 3 of these for an upcoming conversion - do you have a sufficient quantity to ship to Aus yet and at what price ?

Craig
