Obtaining WVO in Perth

Hello everyone

I have been making biodiesel for about 8 Years and I have recently moved to Perth.

The problem is that I cannot get a consistant supplier of WVO.

The company Fattaway seems to be getting all the WVO in town.

Does anybody out there in Perth know of where I can get WVO??

Cheers

Re: Obtaining WVO in Perth

roycehg,
Welcome to the forum, where did you move from?

there are a lot of places that Fataway do not service. You need to look out the back and check with the proprietor/chef. Check out the lunch bars in industrial areas as well as restaurants and (non franchised) fast food outlets.

I do know that Bioworks are now offering 10c/litre for used cooking oil and offer free use of 60, 200 or 450 litre containers for the oil, so be preapred to at least match this payment and supply your own drums (or offer to take away the empty ones where they buy in 20L tins), if you are serious.

If you need some oil, I have a reserve of used cooking oil and I would be prepared to supply you with some if your need is great at the moment.

Regards,
Tony
