| Heating biodiesel in cold weather A friend of mine lives near Shepparton in Victoria who makes his own biodiesel. Because it is cold he now adds one third fossil fuel to biodiesel in his fuel tank. Where he lives the price of fossil is now $1.75 per litre and he is concerned that that price will skyrocket and would like to know if any one has added a heater to their vehicle to run on biodiesel the whole time. If you do can you briefly describe what you have done please. Silverfox |

| Re: Heating biodiesel in cold weather If you make your bio out of good WVO like pure canola or canola blend, you will find it will be good down to about -8. I know that I have no dramas at that temp, only drama I did have last year was when I ran out of bio and filled up with the "winter diesel" in town. Turns out my bio had a lower gel point |
