I am wanting to hire a diesel vehicle sew I can do a trip and run it on veg. I dont care weather it is a 4wd a dual cab ute or whatever as long as it will take 4 people. the hire car websites are bloody unhelpful because they dont tell you what is diesel and what is petrol and I was wondering if anyone know a cheap place to hire a diesel and it would be good with unlimited km as i want to do a long run.
If anyone has any info for anywhere to try that would be appreciated thanks.

I never heard of cars rental places with cnverted diesels to run on wvo!

not looking for a converted one ill just run on a mix as im sure that won't hurt for one trip and all the drivng will be be in 2 goes so the engine will get hot and keep that way so if anyone noes of some cheap diesels to hire let me no thanks.

you say your in roselands? i assume you mean sydney roselands near kingsgrove correct?
If thats correct go for a trip to mascot as there is lots of cheaper car rentals there as well as motor homes etc.

Be careful with using WVO in someone else's vehicle. You could be liable for any repairs they decide are necessary if they have any problems after your hire is complete, or you have during it.
the minimum would be:

• drain the tank and refill with new diesel
• purge all fuel lines
• replace all fuel filters
• overhaul injector pump
• replace injectors.

And they have the right to recover all of the cost AND any loss of income from hiring the vehicle due to the "damage" caused by you.

Please respect the property of others and use alternative fuels ONLY with their permission.

You posted your intentions in your first post: I posted in relation to that portion of your post. My post was therefore ON-TOPIC and related to anyone who misuses someone else's property.

You can do what you like, I was just advising all readers that this is likely to cause significant costs to anyone doing this, if the vehicle owner finds out that WVO was used.

But I believe you should use fuel that you can show prove of it's source in case anything goes wrong with the hired vehicle "if fuel related". Then you can show where the fuel came from.
