Exclamation waste oil hard to get

New to this forum and infact is my first thread listing.
Have been searching the web for sometime now and came across a website DSE (diesel secret energy). They simply add an additive to the filtered waste oil and or to new oil and away you go.No need to heat it before combustion.
Sounds impressive but getting waste oil is hard to get where I am and I have pondered on the idea of importing new vegetable oil.I can get canola oil for approx $250 per ton ex factory.Getting it here into Australia will of course add to the price but the question I would like to be answered is "is there any other place in Australia that supplies new vegi oil at a reasonable price?"

regards andy

Re: waste oil hard to get

The only oil I have heard of cheap was imported was from Nigeria. I did ask if he supplied snake oil as well, and he said he was able to get snake oil at a reasonable price. (not often you meet someone advertising they are a snake oil salesman) Funny the next spammer on the forum said they sold snake oil as well...

I think the magic ingredient is likely to be a solvent to make the oil thinner. Unleaded probably does as good a job per litre, and would do a better job per dollar. I think its already been discussed on the forum somewhere.

Dont be afraid to get plently of knockbacks when asking for oil. I found riding on the pushbike a good way to find the backs of the shop, and if there was a 44 gallon drum out the back. I asked at the places I couldnt find a back of the shop, and had success.
Best of luck with it.

Andy,
Even if it costs another 25c a litre to get the stuff in you are going to be way ahead of the price of dinojuice.
