50/50

hi all

Can i run my carpermanently

using 50/50 Biodiesel and fossilsl fuel
Will damage it damage my car.

Re: 50/50

Danny,
The answer depends on the car you have. Some vehicles have seals and sensors which are incompatible with biodiesel above 30% (recent cars from Pugeot for example).
Other cars may have other issues but some can have replacement seals of a biodiesel resistant material fitted.

Most cars from before 2000 will happily run on 100% biodeisel so 50% would be easy.
