What do you lot pay?

Hello everyone, hows life at the top?

I am new to this forum (just found it today) but not so new to bio diesel.

I live in Darwin, which is really at the top, and have made as much biodiesel as you can make out of 8 200 litres of methanol. I use it at a 100% ratio on a 2001 troopie with an aftermarket turbo. I use it to commute daily, but also to travel long distances towing a boat to my favorite fishing spots (Daly, Shady, Adelaide Rivers) Trying to get everywhere I tend to push it pretty hard, so far with no adverse effects to me or the wildlife.

I have a question or two though. How much are you people paying for stuff?

I pay between $277-00 to $354-00 for 200 litres of methanol and about $75-00 for 25kg Potasium Hydroxide. I am interested in how much you people pay> Anyone know of any cheaper places up here? Ausfule and Shamrock is where i shop..

Even at these prices it is still cheaper to make than to buy!!! Its about $35.00 for 200 litre

Anyway be good and if you want to hear about the fishing, let me know.

Chris

Re: What do you lot pay?

In Sydney I pay $225 for a drum of methanol, so considerably cheaper than Darwin.

However 25kg of KOH is also $75 so no difference there.
