200 Litre Drums ??

Does anyone know where to get/buy used 200 litre metal drums cheaply in Melbourne? I have a few places that will give me their oil but they want a large drum to put it in.

In Sydney, we can get ours from the guy who sells methanol, because he also races cars. Perhaps you can try the tip (I'm sure you'd have to clean them out) or contact some racing groups.

Hi,
For oil collection the best may be to have the removable top type. Here in Canberra I have been getting them from a stock feed place. They are perfectly clean as they only ever contained grain or something similar. $25 each.
Cheers, Chris

You should try small mechanical workshops usually they just give them back to their oil supplier. Having ny own shop thats how I get mine,. the distributor only gets $3.00 if he sends them back to his supplier.
