Animal Fat blened with oil

Hi all,

This is my first post in the forum.

I'm currently thinking of producing biodiesel as i have some animal fat available as a waste.

My question is, if i need more feedstock than what i have available as animal fat, can i blend it with oil(virgin or waste cooking oil) and use the combined blend as a feedstock? And if yes in what proportions?

Thank you very much

Re: Animal Fat blened with oil

Lets not be rude.
LefterisSin if you find some biodiesel prodicers (you will need to find some your self) if you look at their feed stock you will see what they use. In warmer climates they can use tallow. In colder climates you cant use tallow as sole feed stock with 100% biodiesel as there are gelling issues.

take care
