| Overworked Oil? Hi fellas
A friend of mine recently got some pretty old oil (15 months old) in Bunbury. Problem is it has soldified. The supply assured him it was veggie oil originally but had just gone hard. He also said the shop guy worked his oil for a long time before changing. The drums were all veggie oil 20litre drums.
So my question is, is it most likely veggie oil with a high fat content (from cooking), and/or has the long storage time contributed to the solidification.
All this in mind, will the resulting bio be similar to liquid vegie oil product, or have a higher melting point (due to fats) and therefore place the bio in the same category as a animal fat.
Cheers
