Re: going rate for methanol in melbourne

I paid $245.00 on the Gold Coast, just rang up a fuel supplier in the yellow pages. I just use a jiggle syphon hose to syphon to a 20L drum. Mark

I get mine from Wholesale Automatic Transmissions in Bayswater
About $240 for a 205.
They have 20 lt drums.
Will deliver the 205s anywhere in metro area

Re: going rate for methanol in melbourne

When I last checked a few months ago it was $305 in Benalla from the local BP. They always have some 20 liter drums in stock for the rev heads at Winton
Buy a few drums at a time and it soon becomes worthwhile.

Ring Russel at Heathcote Racing on 0409 316962

$220/205L, but you have to drive down to Cannons Creek to get it.

Alternatively, you could try Coogee Chemical in Laverton, which is the label stuck on the side of the drum (I'll be trying them next time)

Re: going rate for methanol in melbourne

You guys got things pretty shitty in the Land Down Under. In Alberta Canada i can get 2 drums for $330 CAN.

Try to use this # and be more competitive maybe.

Regards.

A.S.
