which pump

can anyone tell me which of these pumps would be most suitable for biodiesel transfer, a head of 5 ft through three filters 2x 5 micron and 1x 1/2 micron. the 240v one seems best? thanks andy

Probably none. unless the fuel filters that you intend to use can cope with at least 30litres a minute. if you want to filter to 1/2 micron wouldn't you be better off with bag filters????

I really don't know if you can get 1/2 micron filter that could handle 30 litres per minute or the pressure etc....

my shurflo would kick down and pump to max of 50psi it would push through the filters at a slow but steady rate approx 2-3 lpm the filters are not automotive fuel filters but three spun fibre water filters linked in series 20mm inlet and outlet seems to remove larger particles from bio
