UK tax laws for WVO?

Apparently we in the UK can make biodiesel for our personal use tax-free up to 2500 litres per year.
I know that this might seem silly (but whenever was the law sensible?), but does anyone know if there are any UK laws limiting the use of filtered WVO, or requiring tax to be paid on using WVO as a direct fuel? Thanks in anticipation...
