  • Members willing to share oil with travelling members

On other threads, members often express that they they are willing to provide oil to other members who are travelling Australia. I have done this a number of times to travellers passing thru WA.

Some members get free oil and some pay varying amounts for their oil. Some members are fastidious about drying and filtering their oil.
Quality and payment for the oil are not the topic here, just where you are and how much oil you may have available (at the present time).

Members wishing to avail themselves of a supply while travelling would PM the member (with a reasonable lead time) and discuss the issues specific to each members needs.

Please edit your post to reflect changes in your circumstances, as these occur. eg where you have provided a travelling member has taken all of your reserve and you are not able to supply others for a while.

I feel that we should post State, Town and the amount of oil / fat normally available on the first line, so that it is easier to search for a location on your travels.

Someone called it a Veggie Utopia.

    We can make this happen.

    Regards,
    Tony

EDIT: Tim has kindly provided a link to Google Maps - Veg Oil supplies

I have used the location details you have provided and put a tag close to, but not on, your address. Hopefully over time this will get fleshed out with lots of extra flags so we gain some confidence in heading out to the great unknown as intrepid travellers.

This link is available to anyone to view, but interested parties must link back to this thread to PM you.

If you want your flag moved, or removed, please let me know via PM.

    Tim
    Thanks Tim.

QLD, Whitsundays - 50L of 5 micron filtered oil. Not dried.

It would be rude not to contribute here

50L of 5 micron filtered oil. Not dried.

A weeks notice would be handy but not necessary.
