Re: join me in a chat tonight

Hi Joe,
I tried to install Active X but windows blocked it because it does not recognise Java something. I haven't got a clue.

Re: join me in a chat tonight

bugger thank for trying. I guess windows SP2 or later might have problem with older java chats. Not to worry. If you get it sorted out i'll pop in more frequently and see if we can get a chat started.

Not at all, leverage away, that's what the site's for.

I've stopped by a few times, but always when there's been no one else there. The java chat client worked OK for me, but I am a nerd, so I would not expect too many probs. I did get a popup about the akiva security certificate being invalid or expired, but it made no difference.

Cheers,

Re: join me in a chat tonight

yeah I drop by regularly and its always empty. Hah. I've hooked up once with Dilly a long time ago. Actually I used it just a few weeks ago when my wife went to Thailand. The kids got a buzz out of it.

I'm in there tonight for a few hours if anyone is interested. I dont mind keeping on trying. It'll be worth it just to chat for someone for a few minutes. :-)

ed: oh its my birthday today BTW. Happy birthday to me...

Re: join me in a chat tonight

Happy belated birthday wishes to you Joe!

Pity I have not looked at the Brisbane scene for some time, might be time to catch up informally sometime, hell we could even have a site visit.

Still running on it too, have fun mate and look after the children,
Matt
