SVO & LR Freelander

Can you convert a LR Freelander to run on SVO Has anyone had experience with LR Freelanders (1998-2001) and SVO? I am looking at purchasing one, but only if I can run it on SVO. Cheers </IMG>

Re: SVO & LR Freelander

I am in the process of converting a LR Freelander, I believe it can be done as it has a bosch injection pump. I am going all out with my conversion with a computer controlling a heater tank that is preheated with a heat exchanger.

The freelander is after all a smaller disco.

Re: SVO & LR Freelander

Where would you put the extra tank? Would you put in a smaller tank for diesel starting and stopping and use the original tank for vege oil? Or would you put in a smaller tank for vege oil and use the original for diesel? I really don't know much about the diesel Freelander, I drove one and had a quick look at one last week. There seemed to be room under the bonnet and under the car as well. We don't want to take up too much room in the boot as it is already small and the pipes would have to run too far. I really appreciate any info and advice you have.
Cheers
