    BIG Improvement for aftermarket Turbo's

Air filter on my HJ60 was really on the wrong side of the engine, plus the existing air filter was SO in the way.
I ordered a "pod filter", used the original filter top cover to fabricate what was needed.
when i had finnished there was so much extra space around the engine, so much easier to work on.
Also the air flow was much improved as I could notice the difference in power, and the turbo would spool up much sooner than it used to.
Hmmm having trouble uploading phots, might try to add them later

    Hi Dagwill,
It is probably because the engine was originally designed to be used in a Left-hand-drive Car.

Hi Tilly, No the intake on the old 2H landcruiser engines is on the RH side of the engine And exhaust is on the LH side so a normal aspirated setup the air intake and air cleaner are on the same side of the engine. but the exhaust and aftermarket turbo is on the other side so air is plumbed from [the extreamly bulky air cleaner] over the eng to turbo and then back again to the inlet manifold
