Hello from Australia - Looking for Pongamia trees

    Hi all

just a quick hello from a new member and asking around for plant material.

Looking for any Pongamia trees either street trees or ones ppl are growing.

i wish to use them to start a local planting group here.

    any advice would be great

    thanks

Have you tried googling it with 'site:.au' at the end of your search terms? This will bring back only Australian sites which meet your search terms.
    eg "Pongamia site:.au"

The Pongamia is a tropical tree. You may have difficulty in growing it successfully in Melbourne

Re: Hello from Australia - Looking for Pongamia trees

    Hi

thanks i will try that search option.

yep its a warm climate tree but it states it can tolerate just below 0 and i live near the coast and very rarely get frost.

i'm hoping to get a good growth rate as it grows so damn fast normally.

    thanks
