Hi Tony,
I am not trying to start an argument.
I am a bit interested in Alga's history.
As I recall, when Alga first joined the forum yon knew straight away that he did not know the first thing about using SVO as a motor fuel. You fellows were constantly telling him how to go about setting up his SVO system and all of his trials and tribulations with attempting to use SVO blends in the Tassie winter towing his cars up and down the drive to get them started.
And then at some point in time he remembered he had actually been using SVO for the last 4 decades.
I was just trying to find out when Alga remembered that he had been using SVO for the last 4 decades when I ran across this thread.
610km on less than a litre of kerosene in a steam powered 63 falcon is certainly impressive.
I bought a brand new 63 falcon when I was a lad. 260ci V8, 4 on the floor for $2200 drive away.
That was the first year Ford had syncromesh on first gear.
I could squeal the tires in the first three gears.
It looked similar to the Pricthard falcon but didn't get such good gas mileage
I wish I still had it
