Animal Lips forming in biodiesel(Cold Weather)

Just wondering if anyone else living in cold hobart has any problems with white sedement forming in their fuel after too much exposure to cold? Does not happen when mixed with 20% fossil diesel... Also do we have any diesel mechanics down here that do not hate biodiesel?

Robbie, I was wondering about the lips
The high melting point esters (methyl stearate, methyl palmate etc) will come out of solution at low temperatures. As the temp rises, this will return to solution.

    Robbie,
Yes, but it may be worth filtering the blend before adding to your fuel tank.
and Yes, the high melting point biodiesel is a good fuel in warmer months.
