Friends of the Earth 'Creating Community forum'

Friends of the Earth's reclaim globalisation collective is organising an event/forum showcasing alternative living options for Melbourne's community. We are inviting members of our community who are undertaking various initiatives, such as alternatives to banking, food and health etc. We will be holding a half day event on Saturday 10th of November. It will most likely be held at the convent at the Collingwood Childrens Farm. The event in intended to inform people how they can explore viable options other than those presented in the mainstream. The event will be tied in with radio 3CR's Festival of Dissent and is being held the weekend before the G20 meeting is held in Melbourne.

We would like to invite The Melbourne Biodiesel Club to set up a stall/info tent on the day. There also maybe time for short talks during the duration of the event. I have been having trouble contacting someone from the club, so I have posted this on this thread in the hope of reaching someone. If anyone could give me further infomation on where to reach someone, that would be great.

Regards,

Chloe Booker

Re: Friends of the Earth 'Creating Community forum'

Hi James,

I tried sending you an email, but it bounced back. I copied and pasted it straight from this? Let me know if I'm doing something wrong or let me know an alternative email address to contact you on.

Cheers,

Chloe

P.S. Chris- I'll be sure to post the event in the events section of this website. Thanks for the tip.

Yes Chloe, the calendar can be found here, so add the event by all means. You may get some other people notice it that way who might not otherwise read this thread.
Chris, we got 1.58M in August and 1.41M in Sept, October... Still too early to say.
