      Re: popes carbon footprint

I heard on the news that the flight the Pope was on is a special charter from Al Italia the national Italian airline.

I also heard that his visit is fully carbon offset.

Even the Catholic Church (despite Archbishop Pell, who is spruking "Populate of Perish" - I firstly mis-spelt it "Popeulate or Peruish" :O) is supporting measures to reduce greenhouse gas production.

I listen to ABC Radio news.

      Regards,
      Tony

LOL, I wonder if the 'carbon offsets' were bought from an Al Gore company
