Re: Interesting Information
And before you leave, Oprah has something for each of you!
"You get a subpoena; you get a subpoena; you, over there — the thin man with the little boy face and the wife with the big knockers — you each get a subpoena!"
This poster was sent to me by a person from my high school graduating class and is making the rounds in America.
An explanation to the poster.
We grew up just outside Washington DC and there was a special holiday observed in the Washington DC area called "Washington's Birthday"."Washington's Birthday" is the third Monday in February and is now more commonly referred to as"Presidents' Day" holiday. It is a Federal holiday so Federal Government workers get the day off.
The special feature for this special holiday was HUGE sales in all sorts of stores with unbelievably cheap prices. Used car would sell for $50 and all manner of clothes at virtually giveaway prices.
These were referred to as the "Washington's Birthday Sales" We had to get up early so mum could be downtown for the opening of the department stores at 7am, Very exciting when you are 10, live in the country and virtually never go downtown.
They still have the sales
AND THIS FROM THE ABC
The desperate and dishonest ramblings of Donald Trump's Friday press conference proved too much for America's main television networks who took the extraordinary measure of stopping their broadcast and telling viewers they were doing so because what the President was saying untrue.
Around the same time Trump's former top adviser, Steve Bannon, was being suspended from Twitter and had a YouTube clip removed after he called for the beheading of the United States' chief infectious diseases expert Anthony Fauci and the head of the FBI, Christopher Wray.
The madness of America, even as the continuing count suggested the cynical and self-serving presidency of Donald Trump would soon be history, is a story that will continue to reverberate over coming years, no matter what the final numbers — and not just because of threats of vigilante action or civil unrest.Last edited by tillyfromparadise; 7 November 2020, 06:48 PM.

Re: Interesting Information
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY. A married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people remembering the same thing!
