    For Hire Valve shimming tool.

    Hi anyone out there with a 1hz cruiser will know that the valves require shimming checks to be done as part of regular maintenance routine. I checked mine recently and all the intake valves were out of tolerances. so i have bit the bullet and purchased the toyota genuine tool P/N: 09248-64011 that is required to remove and install the shims safely and without removing the cam. The tool was expensive as hell but im happy to hire it out to people for $20 + $100 deposit. I realise that it takes time for replacement shims take time to arrive from mr toyota so the loan period would be very reasonable eg 3 weeks.

    I hope you all stop putting off checking your valves and do it asap. To do the check all you need is a feeler gauge. and all u have to remove is the rocker cover. dead easy. My tool is only required if you find that your tolerances are out of spec.
