in answer to roberts request[thread locked] 1984 landcruiser hj60 with a coolant heat exchange before the filter.Stock timing on IP i figure with 1/2 million ks on the clock the wear in timing gears has retarded the timing a little anyway
using a small tank under the bonet did a comparison of top speed, for dino diesel 125km/hr. bio diesel 125km/hr and wvo 130km/hr I maid sure all preivious fuel was purged compleatly each time and repeated the test with the same results

    Re: vehicle test data

    Dagwill,
What was the oil (canola, palm, cottonseed?)
What fuel pre-tratments had been done, especially to the WVO?
What was done to optimise operation on each of the fuels?

tony . all oil used was canola. which i heat and filter. i get it from a hotel put back in original plastic 20ltr cont. There is usually about 15ltr of clear golden oil on top which is used as SVO. As i carefully pour the oil from these cont. i stop as soon as some solid whitish fats start to run as they have settled to the bottom. This last 5ltr or so is put to one side and as soon as it gets to 150ltr i make a batch of bio with it
