Say Hi for me to Max C upstairs from David & David I am sure he will understand :) especially since we are talking computers all the time. ;)

Does the electronic controller allow the element to both:
1. heat to 105 deg C (to boil off water)
as well as
2. maintain a 55 deg C for processing?

The controller in BDK2 is a two digit unit limited to 99C.

BDK3 has a 3 digit unit with a max set point of 320C.

For two stage operation; adjust the set point to 55C, then for stage two, adjust the set point to 105C. All this can be safely achieved using the buttons on the front of the units while energsed.

For more details on the controllers see models IC901 (2 digit) and IC902 (3 digit) on pages 3 and 4 at;
