  • 1995 Mercedes C250d Conversion

I'm about to start the conversion of my merc C250D to a single tank WVO system. Does anyone have any experience of doing the same? I know elsbett do a conversion kit, and am interested in any locally sourced alternatives or advice which would pertain to this model.

I suggest that you consider a 2 tank conversion with a small (20 litre) diesel tank for starting and shutting down. This will allow you to have long engine life and little reduction in boot space, with maximum range on veggie and reliable starting.
Life is a journey, with problems to solve, lessons to learn, but most of all, experiences to enjoy.
