Acetone in diesel - interesting link

Hi all!

I found a forum that discusses acetone in diesel fuel, and found it interesting reading. Does anyone have any experience with adding acetone in with diesel or biodiesel?

Myth busters did a test on acetone with petrol cars.

The results was worse fuel mileage

I find that intoning the "Happy biodiesel warriors transesterfying chant" while performint this dance

works wonders for everything connected with biodiesel

I used it consistently for several months last year and kept accurate fuel consumption records. I found it made no difference whatsoever, see details in this thread:
