While I've been reading for the last few hours on the '5% glycerin pre wash', would it be advantageous to put a cap full of vinegar into the water before mixing with the completed reaction? Not that I've tried a prewash, but could/would it be a technically feasible thing to do?

Re: Vinegar during Glycerine pre wash?
Don't do it. Acid in the wash (whether pre-wash or later) will turn some of the soap you created back into the FFAs that you were trying to eliminate by the reaction.
Acids can create rust in the presence of water. If anything, leave the biodiesel slightly on the alkaline side.
